Founded in 1960 in the Cedar Mill area of Northwest Portland, St. Pius X School is a kindergarten through eighth grade Catholic parish school. We believe that Catholic education is a ministry of our church and is a shared responsibility among school, parish, and family. We promote the holistic development of each child and strive to meet individual needs through a student-centered environment. We are committed to imparting the teachings of Jesus Christ and the truths and traditions of the Church so that students will grow in their love of God and our Catholic Faith. We foster academic and moral excellence to develop life-long learners and willing servants of our school, Church, and global community. The faculty and staff, as facilitators of learning, assist parents in their role as primary Catholic educators of their children.
Our Mission: Through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, St. Pius X Catholic Parish School is committed to witnessing His presence in our world, and provides a faith-centered Catholic education that builds community and instills academic excellence.
